LATINO COELHO. APARTMENTS

This pre-modernist building, with art deco influences, reflects the architectural landscape of Porto at that time.

The original dwelling was spread over four floors, including a lower level, which was accessed via the side patio and courtyard, where the “store”, a small toilet and the “maid's” room were located. The first floor, at street level, housed two garages and access to the upper floors, organized into a social area and kitchen on the second floor and bedrooms on the last.

The project transformed the dwelling into three autonomous units, without significant spatial changes, preserving most of the original materials and coverings and maintaining the character of the house, with the introduction of elements necessary for the renovation.
