CAMPO ALEGRE. APARTMENT

Renovation project for an apartment in a building built in the 1960s, designed by architect Rogério Cavaca [Bloco do Campo Alegre – 30 housing units and shops, 1968].

In 1995, this apartment underwent a major renovation, with the same client, in terms of infrastructure and finishes. In this second intervention, the thermal efficiency of the apartment was prioritized, with double glazing being installed in the existing wooden frames, with a slight alteration of their profile, and some fixed equipment being designed. In general, this intervention involved rehabilitating most of the solutions designed 15 years earlier, without altering their spatial organization.
